That Artist Woman
This blog is very useful! Gail Bartel, the creator of the blog, lays it out in such an organized manner. She has great step-by-step images of her projects. This is helpful especially for 3-D projects. I would definitely use some of these lessons within an elementary school classroom.
Favorite Links for Art Teachers
Ms. Semanick is very simple, yet informative. All the links on the beginning of the page lead you to great step-by-step lesson plans (with images) and are organized by medium, grade, etc. The links on this blog/website are ones I would immediately go to for lesson plans when hitting an art teacher block. Very helpful!
Art with Mr. E
This blog is a little different than the others so far, but it opens my mind to new ideas! Mr. E has a subpage listing materials he needs and guidelines to student teachers. He also has links to different teachers' blogs within his blog, this is a great way to connect with other teachers and come across new ideas. I really like the subpage about materials he needs because by broadcasting this, he will be helped.
The Teaching Palette
I made the hyperlink to this blog to the classroom management section. This page has many subpages about how to handle off task behavior or conflict within a classroom. As an aspiring teacher managing my classroom is what I'm most worried about! These subpages gives examples of ways to keep your students on the right path which is perfect for me! Whenever I am out of ideas of how to control my classroom this is the best place to look for a solution!
Stephanie Danker's Teaching Portfolio
Of course I have to put Dr. Danker's website on this list! This website has been such a help to me while writing my unit plan and I will continue to go back to it as I write even more less plans. This is also a helpful tool on how to progress in my website as I get certified and how to transform my website when I do.
